9 locks today - shouldn't have taken long except for 1.5 hours waiting at Grindley Brook, and then a frustrating time throught the next three following an inflatable from a German boating magazine, the crew(one) of which was writing an article about the journey for his mag. and photographed everything, being single handed also slowed him down, despite lots of help.
Eventually moored at a pleasant site (where Charlie jumped into the muddy ditch on the way up).
