early(ish) start at llangollen to turn around and creep back through the narrows.

On to the Pontsysyllte Aquaduct and to attempt to see Chirk Castle. Long walk along towpath, up hill to gate and still 2.4 km to go - gave up !
Nice wrought iron gate though.

Through tunnel and over Chirk aquaduct and on to our mooring above the locks at St Martins's Moor.
